About Me

I am a Mormon, a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
I am a big and little sister to the best siblings in the whole world.
I'm a daughter of both earthly and heavenly parents.
I am a pediatric speech-language pathologist.
I am a former URLEND-AE trainee.
I'm a night owl but an early bird wannabe.
I am a lover of the colors red, orange and yellow.
I believe in purposeful change.
I spontaneously break into song at any given moment.
I am grateful for good friends and love to make new friends.
I love books...children's books, church books and any other quality book.
I whole-heartedly believe that life does not have to be perfect to be wonderful.
I spent 18 months as a missionary in the Canada Halifax Mission.
It was the best 18 months for my life.
I love to take pictures.  Most on this blog are mine.
I believe in dancing through life...literally dancing.
I prefer to be outdoors (preferably in an orange/red trek light hammock).
I love good Indian and Middle Eastern food.
I'm an extravert masquerading as an introvert.
I believe in the power of lists, goals and paper planners.
Arts and crafts keep me sane.
I love to organize things and I believe in no homeless stuff.
Fall is my favorite season.
I take copious amounts of notes, in class.  Anywhere, anytime, I've got a notebook and a fine point pen.
I have a fetish for school supplies, quilts, shoes, and bags.
I have a lot of soapboxes.

I live by this quote by Gordon B. Hinckley: "You are good. But it is not enough just to be good. You must be good for something. You must contribute good to the world. The world must be a better place for your presence. And the good that is in you must be spread to others."
